Facial aesthetics, otherwise known as 'facial rejuvenation treatments' are a non-surgical way of reducing the signs of ageing on the face for both men and women. A natural, more youthful appearance can be achieved using the wrinkle-relaxing treatment that we provide at Hallcross Dental Practice. Treatment is carried out by Dr Shaila Kotecha. As a clinician, Shaila is gentle, caring and highly professional in her approach to providing treatment to her valued patients.

Please see below an example of before and after wrinkle-relaxing treatment specifically focused on softening the appearance of crows feet:
The cost of treatment is based on how areas of the face are treated:
Frown Lines or Crows Feet (1 Area): £245
Frown Lines and Forehead Lines (2 Areas): £295
Frown Lines and Crows Feet (2 Area): £295
Frown Lines, Forehead Lines & Crows Feet (3 Areas): £345
A very small amount of the relaxant is softly injected into several locations on the face. Impulses are blocked from the nerve to the tiny facial muscles that contribute to wrinkles. The muscles therefore cannot contract and tend to relax. Although the results can be dramatic, it will not radically change your facial appearance. The muscles are simply relaxed, so you can still frown, smile, or look surprised without the wrinkles and creases in your brows.
This is a simple non surgical procedure that, depending on the number of areas you wish to treat, only takes 10-15 minutes and so allows you to return home immediately afterwards.
Individuals vary however, for most people the results last from 3 to 6 months.
No sedation or local anaesthetic is required for the treatment. Most people experience only a mild temporary discomfort.
Treatments have been safely and successfully used for more than 12 years on millions of people worldwide. Any side effects are temporary and localised to the area injected.
