Ms Jo Alibone
E.D.H.
Jo has enjoyed 19 years in dentistry in various roles – Dental nurse, Oral Health Educator and Dental Hygienist. She qualified with a diploma in Dental Hygiene from Birmingham Dental School in 2000 and has worked in practice in Leicestershire ever since, including a specialised periodontal practice.
Her favourite patients are those who don’t like hygienists, by that she means patients who are nervous or who have sadly gone through negative experiences in their dental history. Jo takes pride in being able to gain their trust and eliminate fear from these patients. It is very important to her that her patients are at ease and she likes to ensure that her treatments are a patient led experience.
Out of work, Jo is a mum who enjoys going to the gym. She is qualified to carry out Reiki healing and loves travelling and socialising with friends.
