There are different types of braces available depending upon the nature of your problem or personal preference. It is important to remember that as each problem is unique to each patient, the time that it takes for the process to work successfully will vary for each individual.

Removable appliance - this is used for simple correction work. It takes approximately 12 to 18 months to complete the process.
Fixed appliances with metal or ceramic brackets (tooth coloured) take approximately 18 months to 2 years for completion.
Invisalign® - our most up to date appliance. These near invisible braces take 12 months to 2 years to correct the problem.
