Every so often, our Leicester dental practice has an inspection carried out by the CQC (Care Quality Commission) who are the regulators of health and social care in England. Basically, in a brief nutshell, what the CQC do is carry out certain processes and inspections to ensure that we provide our patients with safe, caring, effective, well led care in the correct environment. They need to ensure that our dental team are continuously responsive to our patients needs, that we follow correct rules and regulations and also that we have the relevant records, policies and documents to abide by at the practice.
