Why are CEREC Crowns Different to other types?
CEREC is a state-of-the-art piece of equipment that allows us to carry out tooth restorations such as crowns in just one visit.
The traditional way for us to provide you with a new crown is for us to take an impression of your ‘prepared’ tooth, and then to send this off to our dental laboratory for our technician to make a new crown for you. This usually takes around two weeks and requires you to wear a temporary crown whilst your new crown is being made.
