As you may know from previous blogs, one of our Leicester dental hygienists Fiona left us to pursue new ventures. New hygienist Lauren joined our team last week and is settling in well! We also have another new addition to Team Hallcross! Trainee dental nurse Nitin joined us a few weeks ago (I may have mentioned this on a blog back then) and is getting to know how each surgery works and trying his hand at different areas. He has our full sympathy nursing among our team of female nurses!!! A huge welcome to both Lauren and Nitin.
Dental nurse Bea, who is on maternity leave brought baby Dennis in to meet us all! He’s absolutely adorable! Nat, who’s also on leave at the moment is also enjoying being off with baby Everly and it was great to see her when she joined us for my leaving dinner at the weekend!
So…after almost 16 years, today is my last day. I’m feeling very emotional and it’s very likely that I will blubber when I finish work this afternoon! I really have had the most wonderful time being part of such a fantastic team. Throughout my Hallcross years, I have worked in the orthodontics department, with the dentist, spending many years as Habib’s nurse, getting to know all our lovely patients. I’ve also, as you know, spent the last five years blogging and being administrator for our social networking sites, Facebook and Twitter. I just want to thank the entire Hallcross team for everything and Jay and Chhaya for being the best bosses! It really is a fab place and I will miss each and every person here.
I’m going now before I start crying again!!!!
